One of the first things I learned when I started my career in digital marketing almost 7 years ago was ‘Content is the King’
But never really understood why.
I thought why should a business or a digital marketer spend hours and hours producing content when there is no immediate return?
But as I kept learning & analyzing top companies, entrepreneurs, digital marketing experts, etc. I started to notice a pattern.
I realized that every digital marketing activity out there, be it:
𝟭. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀
𝟮. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗲𝘁𝗰.
𝟯. 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘀
𝟰. 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀
𝟱. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀
𝟲. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀
𝟳. 𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗥
𝟴. 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀
𝟵. 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘀
or any other activity that you can think of, they all have only 1 thing in common.
Yes, no points for guessing. 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧.
Every successful company is investing almost all of its resources in producing High-Quality Content that provides High Value to their dream clients/customers first and then comes the selling.
So if your business is struggling to find new clients/customers, start producing content ‘𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆’.
One of the most important lessons I learned in Russel Brunson’s, Traffic Secrets book is that you need to publish content daily no matter what your industry is or business is that if you publish your content daily for at least 1 year, you will never have money problems in your life.
Because it’s the only way algorithms start to notice your content and start pushing you upfront amongst so many other content producers and influencers out there.
Of course metrics like engagement, likes, shares, etc. matters as well to push your content organically in the news feed but consistency is a big factor in that.
I hope you understand now why ‘Content is the King’ and got the message.
Hope this post inspires you to publish more and more content for your brand or business.
